Class Descriptions


Zumba

Zumba is a dance fitness program that is meant to be fun, easy to follow, and a great source of cardio and toning. If done regularly, the dances will become easier to follow and many of the dances will be repeated so that you are never expected to do a whole new set of dances. Our instructors’ main goal is to maintain a very positive environment. That means that the dances are easy to pick up so that you don’t feel frustrated, and that the atmosphere is always welcoming and judgement-free! And that goes for the studio as whole as well!

Zumba Toning

This class takes the regular Zumba formula and adds hand weights to provide lightweight resistance training that will give you more toned, leaner muscles. Many of the dances are more stationary than typical Zumba but don’t be fooled, the calories are being burned! 1 and 2 lb weights are available to borrow or there are Zumba Toning Sticks available to purchase.

Butts & Guts

This class is a combination of intense ab routines with a mix of exercises targeting your butt (hence the name) as well as the rest of your lower body. Kayleigh works hard to choose great music and to make sure that everyone walks out sweating! Some routines require a mat, so feel free  to bring your own or borrow own of ours 🙂
